Industrial Systems

An industrial system brings electronic components, embedded software and data flows together. Component selection is considered alongside the connections each part will make with the rest of the system. Design decisions therefore take operating conditions, communication needs, power requirements and maintenance into account. During prototyping, individual components are assessed both on their own and as part of the complete system. Findings from testing help inform design revisions and the next stages of development.
